A choice of SUBARU BOXER engines let you prioritize fuel efficiency or enjoy up to 260 turbocharged horsepower. EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology2 is upgraded for 2026 with features like available Hands-Free Driving Assist for less driver fatigue at highway speeds and is able to automatically slow down as it approaches curves. Emergency Stop Assist with Safe Lane Selection1 is also available to pull the Outback over and stop if the driver becomes unresponsive. Lane Change Assist3, another new feature, checks if a merge is safe when the turn signal is activated during hands-free driving and then can execute lane changes automatically.
