Subaru Crosstrek vs. Toyota C-HR
- The Subaru Crosstrek's base engine (152 hp, 145 lb-ft of torque) is stronger than the C-HR's (144/139). Crosstrek Sport and Limited models come with an upgraded 2.5-liter engine that produces 182 hp, 176 lb-ft of torque. The C-HR doesn't offer an alternative powerplant.
- With 20.8 cubic feet behind the second-row and 55.3 cubic feet in total, the Crosstrek dwarfs the C-HR's cargo capacity, which is limited to 19.1 and 37 cubic feet, respectively.
- The Subaru Crosstrek comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive, and CVT-equipped models include X-MODE advanced traction control. The C-HR doesn't offer all-wheel-drive at all.
Subaru Crosstrek vs. Honda HR-V
- The Crosstrek's base 2.0L and available 2.5L engines are significantly more potent than the HR-V's 1.8L engine (141 hp, 127lb-ft). Furthermore, the HR-V lacks an optional engine.
- The Crosstrek comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the HR-V requires climbing the trim ladder.
- All CVT-equipped Crosstrek's come standard with EyeSight® advanced driver-assistance technologies, including Pre-Collision Braking, Lane-Keep Assist, and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering.
Subaru Crosstrek vs. Hyundai Kona
- In addition to standard Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive, all Crosstrek's with a CVT features X-MODE advanced traction control for superior capability in inclement conditions. The Hyundai Kona offers all-wheel-drive as an option. Honda Sensing® is only available on the HR-V's top-two trim levels.
- CVT-equipped Crosstrek's include Subaru EyeSight® with Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering. The Kona only offers regular adaptive cruise control on the highest trim level.
- The Crosstrek offers available steering adaptive headlights on the Limited trim level. The Kona doesn't have this option.
