The Subaru BRZ is unlike anything else Subaru makes. It's an agile, lightweight sports car that sends power to the rear wheels and is a lot of fun to drive. The BRZ is comfortable, practical and gives you a lot of standard features for a remarkably affordable price. It comes with the fun of a standard six-speed manual transmission and gives you a low seating position that enhances the entertainment factor when you're out on the road. Here's an overview of the new Subaru BRZ that's available for a test drive right now at O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta in Valdosta, GA.
The new Subaru BRZ keeps things simple by giving Nashville and Adel GA buyers two trims to choose from:

The Limited trim is worth the reasonable additional investment, giving you 18-inch aluminum wheels, summer tires and the extra reassurance of blind-spot monitoring. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard and you can spend a little more to get an automatic.
The engine and performance
The new Subaru BRZ is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four engine that's good for 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The 2.4-liter power plant is an upgrade from the previous 2.0-liter version and it boosts acceleration times significantly. With the six-speed manual transmission, the BRZ Limited can make the race from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds. It can also hit the quarter-mile mark in 13.9 seconds at 101 mph.

Fuel economy
The most fuel-efficient version of the BRZ is the one with an automatic transmission, giving you an EPA-estimated 21 MPG in the city and an impressive 30 MPG on highways around Ellentown and Hahira. If you enjoy the extra driver engagement of the six-speed manual transmission, you can still get 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG when you're traveling on the highway.
Interior comfort and cargo space
The Subaru BRZ's interior design focuses on the driver and provides seating for two people up front and two in the back. A 7.0-inch fully digital gauge cluster faces the driver and highlights the tachometer, switching to a linear graph when you're in the Track drive mode. Two heavily-bolstered front seats keep both of you safely in place when you're taking a hard corner.
The low seating position gives the Subaru BRZ outstanding forward-facing visibility that's enhanced by slender front roof pillars. The new BRZ gives you 6.3 cubic feet of space in the trunk which is enough to store two carry-on suitcases and a small load of groceries.

Infotainment technology
The latest edition of the Subaru BRZ comes with a standard 8-inch touch screen, smartphone connectivity, satellite radio and an eight-speaker stereo. A 7-inch digital gauge cluster is also standard along with push-button start, remote keyless entry and dual-zone automatic climate control. You can upgrade to an available 10-speaker stereo system.
Safety technology
The 2023 Subaru BRZ comes with a standard rear view camera. Available safety upgrades include a front and rear collision warning system, a lane-departure warning system and adaptive cruise control to help you maintain a safe following distance from the car in front of you. Other available safety enhancements include automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.
