But this story is about so much more than a number—it's about second chances, compassion, and the lives that are changed because people come together to care. BARC works tirelessly to rescue, shelter, and care for animals who have often been overlooked or left behind. Because of this partnership, more pets will receive the medical care they need, warm beds to rest in, and most importantly—love while they wait for their forever homes. We've seen firsthand the joy that comes from a pet finding their family, and it's moments like those that remind us why this matters so much. Knowing that this donation will help create more of those life-changing connections is something we're truly proud to be a part of. Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults in our community and other urgent need situations across the country, this is the reality. Right here in our own community, O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta partnered with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. On January 13 of this year, O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta donated 132 Coats to our Boys & Girls Club in Valdosta! These essential items not only help keep our children protected, warm, and dry but also have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being. Most of the children we serve come from low-income families, and all of them qualify for free or reduced lunch prices in their school systems. To be able to provide coats to the students in our buildings was incredible!! One kindergartener, Mason, was absolutely elated to receive a new coat. He partnered with one of the Subaru staff members, who walked with him and helped him pick out a color and size of coat that was just right for him. His mom was so thankful for the interest in and impact on Mason that Subaru and the Boys & Girls Club had. At Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta, we are so grateful for this gift that will help so many of our sweet children and their families!

This holiday season, our team at O’Steen Subaru of Valdosta was once again honored to partner with Second Harvest of South Georgia — the leading hunger-relief organization in our region and the largest rural food bank in the state. Giving back to our community is what fuels us, and this year our hearts are full knowing we helped make a difference. Together, with the support of our incredible team and customers, we collected food donations to help local families in need — and O’Steen Subaru of Valdosta proudly donated over $2,000 to further support Second Harvest’s mission. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us in lending a hand and spreading kindness this season.
