O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta has once again demonstrated its commitment to the community by partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to deliver blankets to the Pearlman Cancer Center. This heartfelt gesture is part of the Subaru Loves to Care program, which brings comfort and encouragement to cancer patients across the nation. Each blanket was accompanied by a handwritten message of hope from the customers and staff of O'Steen Subaru—reminders that no one fights alone. LLS is proud to stand alongside Subaru to help spread hope, love, and warmth to those battling cancer—right here in our local community and beyond. A huge thank you to the entire O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta team for their ongoing support of LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Valdosta, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/29/2025, O'Steen Subaru of Valdosta donated 120 shoes/socks to Boys & Girls Club of Valdosta. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Once again, we had the honor of supporting the incredible Pearlman Cancer Center team by delivering warmth and comfort to those who need it most. This year, O’Steen Subaru of Valdosta proudly brought 80 cozy blankets and heartfelt messages of hope to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. These blankets were lovingly passed out to cancer patients, reminding them they are not alone in their fight — and that we stand with them until a cure is found. We believe in the power of small acts to make a big difference. We’re dedicated to giving back and helping create brighter days for our community. Together, we continue to drive hope forward — one blanket, one smile, and one step at a time.

For the second time this year, our team came together to support a vital cause, hosting an onsite blood drive to help save lives right here in our local community. With sleeves rolled up and hearts open, the O’Steen Subaru team once again showed their commitment to making a difference. From donating blood to rallying support and awareness, everyone played a part in turning compassion into action. We know that just one blood donation can help save up to three lives, and being able to contribute twice in one year is something we’re truly proud of. But this blood drive is just one piece of the bigger picture. At O'Steen Subaru, our pledge is to make the world a better place through care, compassion, and community involvement. Our team is constantly looking for ways to uplift those around us. We’re more than a dealership, we’re a neighbor, a partner, and a friend. The mission of the Miracle League comes straight from the heart: to ensure that every child, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities, has the chance to play, laugh, and be a part of a team. When we learned more about their work, we knew we wanted to help fuel that mission. Through this heartfelt partnership, O'Steen Subaru proudly donated $5,630 to support Miracle League’s efforts right here in our local Valdosta community. This contribution helps fund specialized playing fields, adaptive equipment, and programs that bring smiles, confidence, and lasting memories to so many families. O'Steen Subaru, is deeply committed to caring for the local community and ensuring that local neighborhoods remain vibrant and healthy—now and for generations to come. As part of Subaru's "Loves the Earth" initiative, O’Steen Subaru knew that trees play a crucial role in maintaining a thriving environment. Tress provide oxygen, cool the local communities, filter water, clean the air, prevent flooding, and improve overall health. Over the last year our Valdosta community had some terrible storms come through and rip out hundreds of trees. Unfortunately, every year, we lose trees due to age, disease, infestations, and other extreme weather events. That’s why O’Steen Subaru is proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation to help address this critical issue. This spring, O'Steen Subaru was thrilled to join the effort by providing and distributing 100 trees to the Valdosta community. These trees will help sustain and improve our local environment for generations to come, offering long-lasting benefits to our neighborhoods. This year alone, Subaru of America and its retailers distributed 100,000 trees across the country as part of this new partnership, and with over 1.1 million trees planted to date, we’re just getting started. At O'Steen Subaru, we understand that it’s not just about selling cars, it’s about making a positive impact on the planet and the people we serve. Through initiatives like Subaru Loves the Earth, we’re working together with our customers to ensure a greener, healthier Valdosta for years to come. This event has become one of our favorites each year, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community. Every year, we look forward to making a positive impact on the youth of Valdosta and surrounding areas, and this time was no different. The kids couldn’t contain their excitement as they received their brand-new shoes and socks, literally jumping for joy in gratitude. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they slipped into their new shoes reminded us of the true power of giving back. Together, O'Steen Subaru, Subaru of America and the Boys and Girls Club of Valdosta are not only providing for these children, but we’re also creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of community and love.
